Kindness is Learnable and We Need Kindness Now

Wise Readers:

Science proves that kindness is learnable; current events show that it’s so needed now. You’ve often heard me say that without being and finding a partner who is kind and respectful—not just when things are going their way, but as a habit—love won’t last. Fortunately, there are solid, science-supported resources for becoming more kind.

Doug Carnine’s two one-minute long videos about his books will remind you of the value of kindness. The first video, about his inspirational book Saint Badass: Personal Transcendence in Tucker Max Hell, can be found at https://youtu.be/TDUK_xepme4. Saint Badass is about his Buddhist mindful-kindness partnership with men convicted of murder who transform their lives and his as well. The Amazon link for this book is https://goo.gl/MLvgBi. Read more about the book at http://feedkindness.com/books-and-more/saint-badass/.

The second one-minute video, about the self-help/us-help book How Love Wins: The Power of Mindful Kindness, can be found at https://youtu.be/EP8ucHZTzWU. How Love Wins takes the reader through 12 steps to become more mindfully-kind, which leads to greater happiness, health, longevity, and stronger loving relationships. The Amazon link for this second book is https://goo.gl/GQVzRR. Read more about the book at http://feedkindness.com/books-and-more/how-love-wins/.

To complement the books, his website http://feedkindness.com/resources/ contains a variety of resources to help you be mindfully kind to yourself, to your partner, children, friends, co-workers, community members, spiritual seekers, and social justice practitioners. He has also created blogs for his prisoner friends who write about what has happened to them since the publication of the books: http://feedkindness.com/blog/.
