Why is forgiving so hard? Probably because of myths about what forgiveness is.
Forgiveness isn’t:
*forgetting
*saying (or thinking) “it’s no big deal”
*living without boundaries, remaining vulnerable, or letting them do it again
*telling them that you forgave them.
It is reclaiming your peace by letting go of anger—while setting whatever boundaries you need to to be safe.
